Course content |
- Pre- departure safety check
- Boat control - Operating at slow and fest speed - Travelling and launching - Different propulsion systems - Towing - Boat handling at different speed - Manoeuvring in confined spaces ( marina ) - Leaving and coming alongside with different wind directions - Coping with mooring boys - Basic navigation - Basic colregs - Search pattern - Knots and rope works - Communication on board - Using lines for berthing and leaving - Anchoring |
Certification |
RYA Power boat level 1 or 2
The certificate is delivered based on a permanent assessment (except on direct assessment) ICC : Uk nationalities of citizens from non- EU countries can receive an International certificate of competence |
